All praise be to Allah and prayer and peace be upon His messenger, his family ,companions , and followers
I was very happy when I received an invitation from His Excellency Professor Husam Abdulmohsen Al-Angari to support a scientific chair in my name in the field of fiqh and accounting of zakat studies I happily ,agreed wishing to contribute to serving our religion and country and hoping to aging Allah's reward who says:"those who spend their wealth on Allah's path by night and by day , secretly and publicly they will have their reward with their lord and no fear will there be concerning them nor will they grieve."(the cow:274) especially when I got to know that such a chair which helps in this vital field dose not exist so far .
All praise be to Allah, kau was first, as usual headed by its president Professor Osama Sadeq Al-tayyed to agree on establishing this chair and the contract has been signed which makes it the first scientific chair for fiqh and accounting of zakat studies ". this of course aims at developing the studies and research related to one pillar of Islam and one of its obligation : zakat which Allah says about it "and from their properties was the right of the needy petitioner and the deprived." (Winnowing – wind:19) and "take from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase ,and invoke upon them indeed ,your invocations are reassurance for them .and Allah is hearing and knowing ."(repentance :103)
I was more than happy when I got to know that there as a specialized research team who takes care of this chair keeping in mind the chair Professor Dr.saleh Abdurrahman Al-sa'ad; Professor of zakat accounting and fiqh of transactions in the facility of economics and administration in kau. I pray for Allah the almighty to help them succeed and achieve the chair's goals.
