Goal

  • To conduct original and scientific studies addressing issues and problems related to zakat accounting from both accounting and fiqh points of view.
Objectives
  • To conduct scientific studies in the field of zakat accounting for the purpose of saving Muslim society in general and the concerned institutions in particular to better understand how to apply the great pillar of Islam (zakat) and make it a sensible reality of Muslims lives .
  • To support the role of collectors and distributer of zakat such as the department of zakat and revenue and the organization of social security in fulfilling their duties of collecting and distributing zakat.
  • To contribute to the efforts of making KAU research results more responsive to the society needs through partnership between KAU and the public and private and distribution  .
  • To support and encourage graduate students to write their theses in the field of zakat accounting .
  • To enrich the scientific and research and research statues of our kingdom and therefore to contribute to the cause of serving our religion , country and nation
